The Practical, Curious Artisan
Introduction
I wanted to live a different life. I didn't want to go to the same place every day, see the same people, do the same job. I wanted an interesting challenge.
— Harrison Ford
ISTPs (Virtuosos) love to explore with their hands and eyes, engaging with the world around them with impressive diligence, easy curiosity, and a healthy dose of skepticism. They are natural makers, moving from project to project, building useful and superfluous things for fun, and learning from their environment as they go. There's nothing they enjoy more than getting their hands dirty, taking things apart, putting them back together, and making them just a little bit better than before.
ISTPs prefer to tackle problems head-on, seeking straightforward solutions rather than convoluted troubleshooting. When executing ideas or projects, they rely heavily on direct experience and trial and error. And in doing so, they usually prefer to work at their own pace, on their own terms, without unnecessary interruptions.
The 4 Extended Types of ISTP

ISTP-TS
